Please find below a brief summary of our cancellation policy:

Western Dermatology is a small dermatology practice. We try our absolute best to be accommodating & understanding, but as you can appreciate when clients fail to attend their appointments or provide inadequate notice, it makes our job quite difficult. We would like to acknowledge that most people do the right thing the vast majority of the time. However, we are going to introduce a strict cancellation policy to protect our time & to ensure we can service as many clients as possible, so you do not miss out.

Dermatology consultations

Kindly note, in the event that you fail to attend your appointment a fee of $50 will be applicable if less than 48 hours cancellation notice is given. This needs to be settled before any future appointments will be booked. There is no charge if adequate notice of 48 hours or more is given.

In the event that you repeatedly fail to attend the clinic without any notification, unfortunately you will not be permitted to rebook in the future. In some very limited circumstances, full prepayment will be considered as an alternative.

We try our best to respect your time & only ask for the same courtesy in return. Given our significant appointment wait time & high demand, we unfortunately have to take a hard line to minimise last minute cancellations & no shows, so we can make sure all of our clients are seen in a more timely manner.

Cosmetic consultations

We have introduced a $100 deposit for all cosmetic appointments. The deposit will be discounted from the invoice on the day of your consultation/treatment. We require 48 hours notice for all appointment cancellations/changes. If sufficient notice is not given you will lose the deposit. When an appointment is attended the deposit will simply come off your invoice.
